Description :
Vitamin D2 Powder, white needle-like crystal or crystalline powder. There are at least 10 kinds of vitamin D currently known, but the most important ones are vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferous aldehyde). Vitamin D2 is produced by ergosterol in plants irradiated by ultraviolet rays, but it is very small in nature. Vitamin D3 is converted from 7-dehydrocholesterol contained in the human epidermis and dermis by ultraviolet rays in the sun.
Function :
Used for vitamin D deficiency, prevention and treatment of rickets, osteomalacia and infant limbs twitch.
1) Vitamin D2 Powder is used to prevent vitamin D deficiency and treatment, such as: vegan, parenteral nutrition patients with pancreatic insufficiency malabsorption syndromes, liver and gallbladder disease (liver damage, cirrhosis, obstructive jaundice), intestinal disease (fatty diarrhea, Crohn's disease, chronic diarrhea), stomach resection.
2) It is used for the treatment of chronic hypocalcemia, hypophosphatemia, rickets associated with chronic renal insufficiency and osteomalacia, familial hypophosphatemia and hypoparathyroidism (surgery, idiopathic or pseudo-hypoparathyroidism)
3) It is used to treat acute and chronic and post-operative tetany potential disease and idiopathic tetany disease.
