Amino Acid Drug. Used as a biochemical reagents, used in medicine, feed and food additives, nitrogen fertilizer industry used as a non-toxic decarbonization agent.

1.The food-grade Glycine is mainly used as nutritional supplement and food additive: 　　
It is used as a flavoring or sweetness because it is sweet. In combination with sodium glutamate, DL-alanine, or citric acid, it can be used in alcoholic beverage; as a acid corrector or buffer for the composition of wine and soft beverage; as an additive for the making of salted vegetables and sweet jams; as an additive for the making of sauce, vinegar and fruit juice, in order to improve the flavor and taste of food, to retain its original color and to provide a source of sweet; 

　　It can be used as an antiseptic agent for fish flakes and peanut jams, because it can inhibit the reproduction of bacillus subtilis and E.coil; 　　
　　Glycine consists of amino and hydroxyl ions and therefore has strong buffering effects. It can play a buffering role in the taste of edible salt and vinegar; 　　
　　It plays a certain role in metal chelation and antioxidation. Therefore, it can be used as a stabilizer for, cream, cheese, margarine, fast cooked noodles, wheat flour and pig lard; 　　
　　It can be used as an inductor in feed additive because it is weet; 　　
　　It can be used as an inductor in feed additives because it is sweet; 　　
　　It can be used in food processing, brewing process, meat processing ingredient as well as in saccharin sodium in order to remove bitterness. 　　

2.The medical-grade Glycine: 　　
　　It is mainly used in amino acid injection solution as nutritional infusion. It can be used to patients who have digestive malfunction, or long consumptive diseases, and urgently need nutritional supplement, including those who have gastroenterotomia, severe traumatic infection, severe burns, cancer, or liver-kidney failure, It also can be used as a nutritional supplement before or after surgical operations; 　　
　　It can be used as a supplemental medicine to treat myasthenia progressive and pseudo hypertrophic muscular dystrophy; 　　
　　The solution containing 30% Glycine and 70% medical calcium carbonate, may be taken orally to treat neural hyperchlorthydria and gastric ulcer hyperchlorhydria. 　　
　　It can be used as a buffer for Aureomycin, as a raw material L-Dopa foe treating Parkinson’s disease, as a raw material for synthesis of B6 amino acids including threonine, the intermediates of imidazoleacetic acid; 　　
　　It can be used as a stabilizer for Vitamin C; 　　
　　It can be used in the research on the metabolism of amino acids by medical organisms or on a biochemical basis. 　

　
3.The industrial-grade Glycine :

It can be used as a solvent for removing CO2 in the fertilizer industry, as an additive to the electroplating solution, as a pH regulator, and as an intermediate of pesticides, e.g.a key raw material for herbicide glyphosate.

[Storage] :

Glycine should be kept cool and dry in unopened original packing. Storage and conditions of 5-30℃ and 20-75% rel. humidity are recommended. Under these conditions its active content is guaranteed of 2years form the manufacturing date. The manufacturing date is part of the lot number on the package label.
